Tiffany
Carnahan
Senior Artist
| Owner
Tiffany's exposure to cosmetics began at the age of three
when her father bought her a small gift that, unbeknownst
to him, would have a lifelong impact on her life.

"I remember my mother saying
to my dad that he 'should not have bought that' as he placed
a gift set of six nail polishes in front of me."

That single moment began Tiffany's lifelong fascination with
makeup.
Blessed with an olive complexion and mediterranean skin, Tiffany's
mother wears no makeup and has very little knowledge on the
subject of cosmetics, which made it hard for her mother to
answer Tiffany's lip gloss and mascara questions as a teenager.
"My mother did not need to worry about wrinkles at thirty,
something I am extremely grateful for now that I too am in
my thirties, but it meant having to look elsewhere for advice."
At age fifteen, her mother took her to a cosmetics counter
at a local department store where she first learned about
skin care and color selection.
In high school and college, Tiffany studied theatrical and
stage makeup which proved to be a useful skill when she began
performing on stage. When she was eighteen, she took her stage
experience to the next level when she began competing in local,
state and national pageants.
Not satisfied with her limited knowledge of glamour makeup
application, Tiffany began private instruction with a respected
Hollywood makeup artist. After her pageant career had ended,
she turned her focus to others, becoming a makeup artist for
stage, television, and photography.
After seven years of working part-time in the cosmetics industry
as an advisor and regional artists, she devoted herself to
a full-time career in cosmetics management and artist training.
She spent several years traveling throughout both North and
South Carolina for National Makeup Artist events where she
worked alongside some of the most respected artists in the
industry.
"The years I have spent working with so many wonderful
people have made me realize the truth in my favorite quote
from my beauty icon Sophia Loren. She said, 'Nothing makes
a woman more beautiful than the belief she is beautiful.'
The idea that beauty is an attitude is my Bella Segreto."
